Christmas 2017
Dining date: 12/25/17
My family’s Christmas tradition of two meals, one on each side of the family, has spanned many years – I’ve lost count. This year was no different with lunch being spent on my mom’s side and dinner spent on my dad’s side. It’s certainly one of the most gluttonous days of the year for my family and I (along with Thanksgiving). Below is all of the food:
fried wontons
hot dog pastries
deviled eggs
egg rolls
breakfast sandwiches
mashed potatoes
chow mein
lasagna
sauteed shrimp
lollipop chicken wings
chinese roasted goose
pork ribs
pork shoulder
sauteed steak
panettone from roy
maple pecan bars
chocolates
mango pudding
sweet stop dream cake
sweet stop chocolate crunch cake
At the conclusion of dessert, we moved on to dinner at my dad’s side of the family.
chinese sticky rice
vegetables
mashed potatoes
gravy
stuffing
yams
turkey
roasted new york strip
lobster tails
sweet stop dream cake
Filled with plenty of food, friends and family – Christmas is always one of the most memorable days of the year. Unfortunately, I was a bit under the weather for this particular one, but it didn’t stop me from being able to celebrate another Christmas tradition.
